What this calculator includes
It is a simple profit estimate for one unit. You enter the selling price, your product cost and the FBA fee. The tool charges a flat 15% referral fee on the price and computes net profit as price − cost − referral − FBA fee.
Worked example
Price Rs. 1,000, cost Rs. 400, FBA fee Rs. 70: referral is Rs. 150, so profit is 1,000 − 400 − 150 − 70 = Rs. 380.
Where reality differs
- Referral fee varies by category. Amazon's rate differs across categories and price bands, and 15% is only an approximation.
- The FBA fee depends on size and weight tier, so you must enter the amount from Amazon's current fee schedule.
- GST on fees, storage fees, returns, advertising and inbound shipping are not included.
- The result is a per-unit profit, not a margin percentage. Divide it by price for margin.
